  This sharp, wonderfully concise book makes the case for single payer health care in America *not* by detailing, as so many countless others have before, the immorality and inhumanity of U.S. health care.
  
  Most people by now have heard 40 million have no insurance and many more are paying too much for insurance that covers very little (and even less they find out as soon as they get sick) and that tens of thousands die from preventable illness due to lack of care.
  
  Reminding the public ad nauseam of these tragic facts has never worked in bringing quality health care to all U.S. citizens.

  The author knows perfectly well that approach has failed to convince self-described conservatives and libertarians and he knows why. In fact the author was raised in a staunchly conservative, “pro-business” household and he grew up a believer in Ayn Rand and is well versed in free market ideology.
  
  This book makes the argument for single payer health care on strictly economic grounds. It clearly lays out for the reader how single payer health care would benefit businesses deeply hurting from escalating health insurance costs.

  It’s a 66 page book (the remaining 40 pages are appendices which is mostly the text of HR 676 – the single payer bill in the House).
  
  “Single Payer Solution: America’s Health Care Cure” is your solution to better communicating with centrists, Obama-care supporters, right-wingers and it is excellent if you’d simply like to understand how single payer health care actually works.
  
  For about ten bucks and about an hour of your time you are schooled on health care.
